In response to the recent flood caused by heavy rainfall in Chattogram, Ghashful has extended humanitarian support to affected families in Anwara and Hathazari.
On 15 July 2026, relief assistance was distributed among flood-affected families in Mekhal, Gumanmardan, and Gorduara unions of Hathazari Upazila. The distribution was attended by Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer Muhammad Abdullah Al Mumin, along with Ghashful Deputy Director Sadia Rahman, Assistant Director Md. Nasir Uddin, Manager (Administration) Syed Mamunur Rashid, Area Manager Rehena Akter, and other officials of the organization.
The following day, on 16 July 2026, Ghashful continued its relief support in Anwara Upazila by distributing food items and other essential supplies among affected families in Malghar and Kunirbil areas. Present during the distribution were Assistant Director Md. Nasir Uddin, Manager (Administration) Syed Mamunur Rashid, Area Manager Md. Moinuddin, and other officials of the organization.
Ghashful stated that the relief support was provided considering the urgent needs of flood-affected families. So far, the organization has distributed around 600 relief packages in response to the ongoing flood situation and will continue its humanitarian efforts to support affected communities.
