To support people affected by the recent floods in Hathazari, Chattogram, Ghashful handed over 500 relief packages as part of the Upazila Administration’s relief distribution initiative.
The relief distribution program was held on Tuesday, 14 July, at Mekhal Union in Hathazari Upazila. The event was attended by the Honorable Adviser to the Prime Minister on Political and Industrial Affairs, Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed; State Minister for the Ministry of Land and Chittagong Hill Tracts Affairs and Member of Parliament for Chattogram-5 (Hathazari), Barrister Mir Mohammad Helal Uddin, MP; and Hathazari Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO), Muhammad Abdullah Al Mumin.
Local public representatives, political leaders, officials from the Upazila Administration, and representatives of Ghashful were also present at the event.
The distributed relief packages included food items and other essential daily necessities for families affected by the floods.
Through this initiative, Ghashful stood beside flood-affected communities in a time of urgent need, reaffirming its commitment to humanitarian support and community well-being.
