A day-long training workshop is currently underway today, 19 July, at Ghashful’s Oxygen Branch Office in Chattogram to strengthen the capacity of the organization’s officials and familiarize them with modern working approaches.
Speaking at the opening session, Ghashful CEO Aftabur Rahman Jafree and Deputy Director Jayanta Kumer Bosu emphasized that, in today’s changing context, it is essential to build technology-based skills, develop a strong understanding of development projects, and enhance knowledge on preventive healthcare. They noted that strengthening these competencies will improve the quality of field-level services and make program implementation more effective for beneficiaries.
The workshop includes three separate sessions on Artificial Intelligence (AI), strengthening data management under the RAISE Project, and preventive healthcare. The sessions are being conducted by Area Manager Mohammad Osman, Project Coordinator Kazi Md. Sirajus Salekeen, Deputy Director Jayanta Kumer Bosu, and Assistant Director (Microfinance) Md. Nasir Uddin.
Participants include officials from the Chattogram and Dhaka zones, MIS Manager Md. Shahadat Hossain, Area Managers from Feni and Chattogram, all Branch Managers of the Chattogram Zone, the Manager of Feni Sadar Branch, paramedic physicians of Ghashful, Junior Officer (Administration) Suman Deb, and other concerned officials.
The workshop reflects Ghashful’s continued commitment to strengthening institutional capacity, improving service quality, and building a more effective and technology-driven development approach.
