Ghashful has secured first place in the performance assessment of the BD Rural WASH for HCD Project in Mirsharai Upazila, Chattogram. VARK and Prottyashi ranked second and third respectively.
The results were announced on 6 October during the Upazila Coordination Committee (UCC) meeting held at the Mirsharai Upazila Parishad Conference Room.
Implemented with support from PKSF, the project focuses on improving access to safe water, sanitation, and hygiene services in rural communities. The recognition was based on a review of the partner organizations’ progress, achievements, and field-level performance over the past six months.
Chief Guest Md. Azhar Ali Pramanik, Senior Independent Verification Consultant of PKSF, highlighted key implementation gaps and challenges and provided guidance to make future activities more effective and result-oriented.
Representing Ghashful at the meeting were Zonal Manager (AD) Md. Nasir Uddin, Branch Manager Md. Jamal Uddin, Engineer Abdullah Al Mamun, and other concerned officials.
Safe water, proper sanitation, and improved hygiene practices are essential to protecting public health. Ghashful’s achievement reflects its continued commitment to strengthening WASH services and awareness at the grassroots level.
