Ghashful’s Executive Committee approved the budget for FY 2026–2027 and the revised budget for FY 2025–2026 at its 135th meeting, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening development activities.
Held via Zoom from Ghashful’s Head Office at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday, 30 August, the meeting was the Committee’s first of FY 2026–2027. Executive Committee President Mafruha Sultana chaired the session.
Participants included Vice-President Shib Narayan Kairi, General Secretary Samiha Salim, Joint General Secretary Shahana Begum, and Executive Members Kabita Barua and Zerin Mahmud Hossain.
Also attending were Ghashful Chief Executive Officer Aftabur Rahman Jafree; Deputy Directors Jayanta Kumer Bosu, Maruful Karim Chowdhury and Sadia Rahman; Assistant Director K.M.G. Rabbani Basunia; and Manager Wahid Jaber Chowdhury.
Alongside approving the budgets, the Committee discussed and adopted key decisions on implementing the new financial year’s work plan, improving the effectiveness of ongoing development activities and strengthening organisational capacity.
