What We Do under “Skills & Enterprise Development and Youth Empowerment”:
Ghashful empowers underprivileged youth—particularly girls and young women—through vocational training, enterprise development, and job placement initiatives. Our approach includes hands-on skills training, industry-based apprenticeships, and alignment with national TVET standards to ensure quality and relevance. These efforts aim to promote economic self-reliance, employment generation, and inclusive growth.
Who We Serve:
The primary beneficiaries are marginalized and unemployed young people, with a special focus on adolescent girls and women from vulnerable communities.
Key Program and Supporters:
This thematic area is implemented through the Partnership Reinforcement for Integrated Skills Enhancement (PRISE) project, supported by UNICEF and BRAC. Training is provided in Beauty Care and Personal Grooming, Tailoring and Dressmaking, Mobile Phone Servicing, and ICT and Computer Office Applications.
