On 13 October 2026, children from the Ghashful Foster Children Care Centre were invited to a cultural programme and award ceremony in Niamatpur, Naogaon, organized on the occasion of Nazrul Year 2026.
At the event, Chief Guest Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Member of Parliament for Naogaon-1, presented each foster child with a gift of BDT 500 from his personal fund. He interacted warmly with the children, encouraged them to move forward with confidence, and called upon members of society to stand beside children in need of care and support.
The programme was chaired by Niamatpur Upazila Nirbahi Officer Mosammat Morsheda Khatun, who appreciated Ghashful’s work and encouraged wider community support for its initiatives.
For a child, care means more than food, clothing, or shelter. It also means affection, education, encouragement, and the opportunity to dream of a better future. Through its Foster Children Care Centre, Ghashful is working to provide children with that sense of family, security, and belonging.
Representing Ghashful were Zonal Manager Md. Anwar Hossain, Area Manager Md. Sharif Ahmed, and Branch Manager Md. Shahidul Islam, while SDP Officer Md. Kohinur Islam coordinated the children’s participation.
Ghashful continues to hold one simple hope: no child should grow up without love simply because they do not have a family.
