A workplace visit was conducted for trainees of the PRISE Project at Mim Beauty Parlour and Laser Center, located in Najipur, Patnitala Upazila of Naogaon district on 14 January. The center is owned by Ms. Munni Akter, an inspiring and hardworking entrepreneur who has established this modern beauty parlour and laser center through her own initiative and dedication. She is also serving as a Master Craft Person (MCP) under the PRISE Project.
Implemented by Ghashful with the support of BRAC, Ms. Munni Akter received MCP training under the PRISE Project at the Patnitala Branch. Under her close supervision, two trainees of the project—Puja Rani and Soma Mondol—are currently receiving hands-on training in the Beautification and Service trade.
During the visit, the training activities and the progress of the learners were found to be satisfactory. It is expected that the PRISE Project, implemented with the support of BRAC, will continue to achieve further positive outcomes and notable successes in the future.
Through the PRISE Project, trainees are not only acquiring technical and professional skills, but are also building confidence and a proactive mindset to face challenges. Overcoming various rural constraints, they are moving forward with determination toward a brighter and more self-reliant future.
