Under the Ghashful RMTP Project, implemented with the support of PKSF, financial assistance has been provided to enhance artificial duck hatchery development. On 8 September 2025, Md. Ashraful Islam, a member of Ghashful Patnitala Branch, received a grant cheque of BDT 150,000. Currently, his branch loan portfolio stands at BDT 600,000.
The cheque was formally handed over by Mr. Aftabur Rahman Jafree, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Ghashful, in the presence of senior officials of the organization.
Following the distribution, the CEO, along with officials, visited the farm of a successful duck and cow entrepreneur in Bolihar, Naohata, who is covered under the project. During the visit, the CEO provided valuable guidance for farm expansion and sustainable growth.
He was accompanied by Mr. Jayanta Kumer Bosu, Deputy Director, Mr. K.M.G. Rabbani Basunia and Mr. Saidur Rahman, Assistant Directors, Md. Amir Hamza, RMTP Project Manager, Md. Sirajul Islam, Project Coordinator, along with other relevant officials.
This initiative highlights Ghashful’s commitment to promoting climate-resilient, livestock-based entrepreneurship, supporting smallholders in scaling up their ventures, and contributing to rural livelihood development.
