On 09 February in Naogaon, a Refresher Meeting was held at the Patnitala Area Office of Ghashful, organized by the Niamatpur Zone. Aftabur Rahman Jafree, Chief Executive Officer of Ghashful, attended the meeting and provided guidance on the importance of progressive lending and project-based Microenterprise (ME) loans in line with the latest circulars issued by Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).
On the same day, the CEO conducted field visits to two Income Generating Activities (IGAs)—Sobuj Enterprise and Amena Duck Hatchery. The entrepreneurs are beneficiaries of Ghashful’s Microfinance and Financial Inclusion Program, each having received BDT 2 million in loan support for enterprise development.
During the visits, the CEO interacted directly with the entrepreneurs, emphasizing the proper and effective utilization of project-based loans and financial assistance. He also shared practical advice to enhance quality standards and support sustainable business expansion, assuring entrepreneurs of Ghashful’s continued partnership in income-generating initiatives.
The program was attended by Jayanta Kumar Bosu, Deputy Director; Md. Anwar Hossain, Zonal Manager; Sirajul Islam, Program Coordinator; along with Area Managers, Branch Managers, and other officials. The CEO urged all staff to uphold sincerity, accountability, and professionalism in carrying out their responsibilities.
