Two officials from Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) recently visited the RAISE (Recovery and Advancement of Informal Sector Employment) Project implemented by Ghashful in Chattogram, under the theme “Enhancing Human Capacity through Small Enterprises.”
On 29 March, Program Manager Kazi Mashrur-Ul-Alam conducted a field-level review of apprenticeship training, documentation processes, and loan disbursement activities. Subsequently, on 31 March, Accounts Officer Atikur Rahman assessed the project’s financial management systems and overall operations.
During the monitoring visit, activities of seven apprentices across three different trades, along with entrepreneurs affected by COVID-19, were observed. The officials carried out a detailed review of financial management, documentation, and administrative processes.
Both officials expressed satisfaction with the project’s field-level implementation, beneficiary engagement, and financial management standards. They highly appreciated Ghashful’s effective role in enhancing youth skills, promoting self-employment, and supporting sustainable livelihoods through the RAISE Project.
The visit was attended by Deputy Director Jayanta Kumer Bosu, Assistant Director (Microfinance) Md. Nasir Uddin, Project Coordinator Kazi Md. Sirajus Salekeen, along with respective Area and Branch Managers.
Project Coordinator Kazi Md. Sirajus Salekeen reaffirmed that, following PKSF’s guidance, Ghashful will continue strengthening financial management, implementation processes, and skill development initiatives to ensure greater sustainability and impact.
