With financial and technical support from Palli Karma‑Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and the World Bank, and implemented by Ghashful, regular monitoring, training progress review, and quality assurance activities for apprentices are being carried out under the Results-Based Apprenticeship for Innovative Skills Enhancement (RAISE) Project.
As part of this ongoing effort, on 8 January 2026, field visits were conducted in the Patiya and Kalarpol areas of Chattogram to observe apprentices engaged in Welding and Fabrication and Motorcycle Servicing trades. During the visits, discussions were held with the respective Master Craft Persons (MCPs) to assess apprentices’ regular attendance, progress in skill acquisition, and overall training quality, alongside close observation of the training activities.
The apprentices demonstrated encouraging levels of sincerity, discipline, and practical, hands-on skill development, reflecting positive progress toward achieving the project’s objectives.
The monitoring visit was attended by Mr. Kazi Md. Sirajus Salakeen, Project Coordinator; Mr. Md. Gias Uddin Parvez, Accounts Officer; Mr. Sanjoy Chowdhury, Case Management Officer; and Mr. Syed Mansur Ali, Branch Manager, along with other relevant personnel.
