Monthly Stipends Distributed to MCPs and Learners under Ghashful’s PRISE Project

The monthly stipends for January 2026 for Master Craft Persons (MCPs) and learners under the PRISE Project implemented by Ghashful were successfully distributed on 9 February at Satihat, Manda Upazila (Naogaon) and on 10 February at Chapainawabganj Sadar Upazila.

The distribution ceremonies in both locations were attended as Chief Guest by Aftabur Rahman Jafree, Chief Executive Officer of Ghashful. Jayanta Kumar Bosu, Deputy Director, and Md. Anwar Hossain, Zonal Manager, were present as Special Guests.

Also present were Rozina Khatun, District Manager of BRAC Development Programme; Sirajul Islam, Project Coordinator of Ghashful; Mohammad Sharif Ahmed and K. M. Ahsan Habib, Area Managers; Utpal Kumar, Branch Manager of BRAC; along with Mosharaf Hossain, Branch Coordinator of the Ghashful PRISE Project, and Program Officers Khairul Islam and Tofayel Ahmed.

In his address, the Chief Executive Officer stated that technical education is no longer confined to urban areas; its expansion to rural communities is generating positive change in the national economy. He emphasized that transforming youth potential into a skilled human resource and collectively contributing to national development remains a core objective.

He further noted that the Ghashful PRISE Project, implemented with the support of BRAC, is establishing effective linkages between technical training institutions and the industrial sector. Through this initiative, unemployed youth, young women, and persons with disabilities, along with other disadvantaged groups, are being equipped with employable skills, enabling their inclusion across all levels of society as job-ready citizens.
