On 12 January 2026, monthly allowances for December 2025 were distributed among the apprentices (learners) and Master Craft Persons (MCPs) under the PRISE Project implemented by Ghashful, in Satiarhat of Manda Upazila and Mohadebpur Upazila of Naogaon district.
The allowance distribution ceremony at Manda Satiarhat was attended by Mr. K. M. G. Rabbani Basunia, Assistant Director (SDP), Ghashful, while at Mohadebpur Branch, the event was attended by Mr. Saidur Rahman, Assistant Director, along with Ms. Rozina Khatun, District Manager of the BRAC Skills Development Programme. Also present were Mr. Sirajul Islam, Project Coordinator, Mr. K. M. Ahsan Habib, Area Manager, Mr. Mosharaf Hossain, Branch Coordinator, and Program Officers Mr. Khairul Islam and Ms. Mimya Zaman.
Speakers at the event highlighted that, in alignment with the demand and supply of skilled labor in the national labor market, Ghashful’s PRISE Project (Partnership Reinforcement for Integrated Skills Enhancement), implemented with support from BRAC, is working to bridge the gap between technical training institutions and the industrial sector. The project aims to equip unemployed youth, young women, and disadvantaged groups including persons with disabilities with employable skills, enabling them to become job-ready citizens and ensuring their meaningful inclusion across all levels of society.
