Under the Ghashful ENRICH program, implemented in collaboration with Palli Karma Sahayak Foundation PKSF, two separate ceremonies were held on the occasion of birth centenary of the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. On March 18, 2021 at the premise of Nagenra Nath Mahahjan High School at Hathazari Union, and on March 25, 2021 at the UP Parishad office premises of Gumanmardan Union. On this occasion the union held two separate discussion meetings and a day-long health and eye camp. At Mekhal Union, Ghashful Director (Operations) Md. Faridur Rahman and at Gumanmardan Union, Regional Manager Md. Nasir Uddin presided over the function. The chief guests were Mekhal UP Chairman Md. Alauddin Chowdhury and Gumanmardan UP Chairman Md. Mojibur Rahman respectively. Babu Jaharlal Debnath, Headmaster of Nagendranath Mahajan High School and Bablu Bhattacharya, Member of Mekhal UP were present as special guests at Mekhal Union. President of Gumanmardan Union Ward Committee Ahsanul Haque Hathazari Model Police Station ASI Mir Mohammad Gumanmardan Samriddhi Program Coordinator Md. Arif and local dignitaries were present as special guests at Gumanmardan Union. Speakers at the two programs said that if Bangabandhu had not been born, we would still be an oppressed and disenfranchised nation in the chains of subjugation. A total of 901 patients were provided free maternal and child health, diabetes, medicine, eye care and medicine at the health and eye camps organized in the two unions.
