On 1 December 2025, the global community observed World AIDS Day. Marking the occasion, various programmes including rallies and discussion meetings were organized in Chattogram by government and nongovernment development organizations. Ghashful actively participated in these activities arranged by the Office of the Civil Surgeon, Chattogram.
Speakers at the discussion highlighted the importance of HIV and AIDS prevention, timely access to services, risk reduction and increased public awareness. They emphasized that evidence based knowledge and collective efforts play a crucial role in preventing AIDS.
This year’s theme is “Remove all barriers and build an AIDS free society.”
