“Ghashful is working to build lives and livelihood of people of in the establishment of Bangabandhu’s Golden Bangla” – Speakers at the discussion meeting

On the occasion of the 47th martyrdom anniversary of the great architect of independence, Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman and National Mourning Day 2022, a virtual discussion meeting was held on Saturday, August 13, organized by Ghashful. The meeting was presided by CEO of Ghashful, Aftabur Rahman Jafree. and Director (Operation) Mr. Mohammad Faridur Rahman, Deputy Director Mafizur Rahman, Maruful Karim Chowdhury, Jayanta Kumer Bosu, Assistant Director Shamsul Haque, Khaleda Akhtar, Saidur Rahman, Sadia Rahman, KMG Rabbani Basunia, Manager Syed Mamunur Rashid and Nashir Uddin were present at the meeting. Speakers said, Bangabandhu has struggled for a lifetime to build a welfare state for the farmers, laborers and hardworking people. He wanted to create golden Bangladesh with the aim to ensuring geographical freedom as well as economic freedom to the people of this country. The speakers said that the development organization Ghashful has been working for more than fifty years to fulfil Bangabandhu’s dream to create golden Bangladesh through implementing interventions towards the social and economic development of the people of this country. Ghashful founder Late Shamsunnahar Rahman Paran directly took part in realizing Bangabandhu’s dream through rehabilitation works, economic emancipation and social development of marginalized women and victimized War-heroines after independence of Bangladesh. The speakers paid deep respect to all the martyrs including Bangabandhu who died in the brutal massacre on August 15 and wished for the salvation of their souls.
