The programmes were held in Mohadevpur of Naogaon and in the Shantir Mor, Arambag area of Chapainawabganj.
On 26 November in Mohadevpur, speakers highlighted that Bangladesh has a vast youth population, and with appropriate technical training this potential can be transformed into skilled human resources capable of accessing better employment opportunities. The session was attended by KMG Rabbani Basunia, Assistant Director (SDP) of Ghashful, Project Coordinator Sirajul Islam, Branch Coordinator Mosharraf Hossain, Programme Officer Mimiya Zaman, Peer Leader Nusrat Jahan and Branch Manager Moazzem Hossain.
A day earlier, on 25 November 2025, the Basic Orientation of the PRISE Learning Programme was held in Chapainawabganj with the participation of students and parents. This event served as the project’s first formal introduction in the area. Branch Coordinator Mosharraf Hossain, Microfinance Branch Manager Sultan Mahmud, Programme Officer Tofayel Hossain, Peer Lead Sumaiya Akter Jyoti and Project Coordinator Sirajul Islam discussed the project’s objectives, selection procedures, training modules and the employment opportunities that the initiative aims to create.
Through industry oriented vocational training, life skills development and career guidance, the PRISE Project is designed to support economically marginalized and unemployed youth. The initiative aims to guide them toward stable livelihoods while fostering confidence, leadership qualities and the ability to work effectively in teams.
Participants expressed hope that such initiatives are opening new doors for unemployed youth in the northern region. They were also assured that Ghashful will continue to support trainees with job placements and entrepreneurship opportunities upon completion of their training.
