With the vision of “Restoring Sight, Renewing Life”, a special eye camp was organized on 22 June under the Ghashful ENRICH program at Bhavicha Union in Niamatpur Upazila, Naogaon.
The camp was held with support from Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and technical assistance from Ispahani Islamia Eye Institute and Hospital. A total of 143 patients received treatment for various eye-related issues.
Among them, 15 elderly and underprivileged patients were selected for free cataract surgery—the most significant highlight of the initiative. The post-operative results brought visible joy and renewed hope to the patients and their families.
The event was inaugurated by Mr. Mia Md. Mamunur Rashid, Acting Chairman of Bhavicha Union Parishad. Md. Taiyobur Rahman, Principal of Niamatpur Islamia Alim Madrasa, attended as a special guest.
The camp was coordinated by Md. Kohinur Islam, Coordinator of the Ghashful ENRICH program, along with his dedicated team who worked tirelessly to ensure community outreach and patient participation across the union.
