Ghashful celebrated International Women’s Day on 08 March 2022 through different programs at three locations, keeping in mind the theme of ‘Sustainable Future, Gender Equality Today’. Ghashful-Chairman Dr. Monzur-ul-Amin Chowdhury joined the celebration by cutting a cake at the organization’s head office in Chittagong Chandgaon in presence of all the female staffs of Ghashful, as well as the Joint Secretary of Executive Committee, Kabita Barua, Member Professor Dr. Zainab Begum, General Parishad Member Jahanara Begum, Shahana Muhit, and Nazneen Rahman. In a brief discussion, Ghashful Chairman said, it is not possible to achieve prosperity of a country without women. So equal opportunities for women must be ensured everywhere. Also, a discussion meeting and cultural program was held at Ghashful Paran Rahman School in West Madabari of Chittagong on the occasion of International Women’s Day. Furthermore, a discussion meeting was held on the occasion of International Women’s Day-2022 at ENRICH office in Mekhal Union of Hathazari Upazila under Ghashful ENRICH program. Women of different professions from various wards of the union, dignitaries of the area and officials of the prosperity program were present in the event.
