To expand technical skills development and employment opportunities for young people, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today, 23 July, between BRAC and Ghashful at BRAC Head Office under the STAR BY PNGO program.
The agreement was signed on behalf of BRAC by Shafi Rahman Khan, Director (SDP, Education and Migration Program), and on behalf of Ghashful by CEO Aftabur Rahman Jafree.
The signing ceremony was attended by Brigadier General (Retd.) Md. Golam Faruk, Head of Program, BRAC Skills Development Program; Al Imran, Head of Operation; Muhammad Moniruzzaman, Manager (Operation); and Ghashful Program Coordinator Sirajul Islam, along with senior officials from both organizations.
Through this partnership, both organizations expect to further strengthen initiatives for technical skills development, employment generation, and building a more self-reliant future for marginalized youth.
It is worth noting that BRAC’s initiative had previously been implemented under the name PRISE Program until June 2026.
