On the occasion of National Legal Aid Day, 28 April 2026, Ghashful participated in the Legal Aid Fair organized by the District Legal Aid Committee, Chattogram, at the Chattogram Court Building Parking Area.
Through its stall, Ghashful provided information on government legal aid services, offered free legal consultation, and shared guidance on legal procedures. Special emphasis was given to supporting women, children, and marginalized communities in accessing justice.
As part of the day’s program, a colorful rally was held, followed by an official visit to Ghashful’s stall. Metropolitan Sessions Judge Mohammad Hasanul Islam and Chairman of the District Legal Aid Committee and Acting District & Sessions Judge Md. Abdul Halim visited the stall and exchanged views with the participants.
Also present during the visit were Metropolitan Public Prosecutor Mofizul Haque Bhuiyan, the Metropolitan Public Prosecutor (Women and Children Repression Tribunal-1), along with lawyers, observer members, and representatives of partner organizations.
Ghashful’s participation in the fair reflects its continued commitment to promoting access to justice and raising awareness about legal rights among underserved communities.
