The first assessment of the ongoing Apprenticeship training model under the RAISE Project implemented by Ghashful, with financial and technical support from Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) and the World Bank, was successfully completed on 21 January in Banshkhali Upazila.
Under this initiative, apprentices are receiving hands-on, practical skills training under the guidance of skilled Master Craft Persons (MCPs) across six technical trades—Mobile Phone Servicing, Beautification, Small Engineering and Metal Works, Electrical Installation and Maintenance, Dress Making and Tailoring, and Driving and Auto Mechanics.
The assessment was conducted by the Project Implementation Unit (PIU), led by Mr. Kazi Md. Sirajus Salakeen, Coordinator of the Ghashful RAISE Project, with support from Mr. Sanjoy Chowdhury, Case Management Officer, and Mr. Md. Forkan, Branch Manager.
The assessment process aimed to review trainees’ progress, practical competencies, and overall training quality.
