Ghashful’s CARE Project (Community-based Adaptation for Resilient Empowerment of Adivasi) is creating new pathways of hope for indigenous communities in Naogaon by promoting drought-resilient and environmentally friendly agricultural technologies. The initiative is funded by UNDP, Australian Aid, and the Global Environment Facility Small Grants Programme.
Recently, the Project Coordinator Mr. Md. Amir Hamza conducted field visits and held discussions with farmers on crop and vegetable cropping patterns, providing practical guidance tailored to local conditions. The demonstration plots are serving as practical learning spaces, enabling community members to understand how higher production can be achieved with limited water and natural resources.
Beyond agriculture, the project represents a broader commitment to environmental sustainability and long-term climate resilience. Each demonstration field stands as a living example of innovation and creativity, showing how hope and resilience can grow even amid challenges.
