To improve the quality of life and create employment opportunities for disadvantaged adolescents and young people in Bangladesh, a significant agreement was signed on 10 September 2025 between Ghashful and BRAC at BRAC’s Head Office in Dhaka.
The signing ceremony was attended by Kazi Rowshan Ara, Head of Program (SDP), BRAC; Al Imran, Head of Operations (SDP), BRAC; Sharif Ahmed Niam, Deputy Program Manager (SDP), BRAC; and from Ghashful, Jayanta Kumer Bosu, Deputy Director (Operations), and Sirajul Islam, Project Coordinator. Senior officials from BRAC’s Finance and Partnership Department were also present.
According to the signed agreement, the PRISE project will be implemented in five upazilas across Naogaon and Chapainawabganj districts in Rajshahi Division.
The project’s primary goal is to provide economic and technical support to disadvantaged adolescents and youth, build skilled manpower through training, and create sustainable employment opportunities for them.
Speakers at the event expressed optimism that this initiative will open a new horizon in improving the social and economic conditions of marginalized communities across the country.
