On 12 August 2025 (Tuesday), National and International Youth Day 2025 was celebrated with due importance in Niamatpur Upazila, Naogaon, under the initiative of the Ghashful ENRICH program, supported by PKSF. This year’s theme was “Technology-driven Youth Power, Progress through Multilateral Partnership.”
The day’s program began with a colorful rally from the Upazila Parishad premises, which paraded through the main streets of the town. Following the rally, a discussion session was held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium, attended by nearly 500 young men and women from different unions of the upazila.
S.M. Kamruzzaman, Upazila Youth Development Officer, attended as the Chief Guest. In his speech, he emphasized the necessity of technology in enhancing youth skills and self-reliance, and stressed the importance of moving forward through well-coordinated multilateral partnerships.
Md. Sirajul Islam, a distinguished journalist of Niamatpur, was present as Special Guest. He urged the youth to play a leading role in social development, quality education, and entrepreneurship.
Representing Ghashful, Md. Anwar Hossain, Area Manager, and Md. Kohinur Islam, Upazila Coordinator of the ENRICH program, along with other officials, actively participated in the event.
The celebration played an important role in inspiring the local youth, fostering awareness, and encouraging a spirit of collaboration. It stood as a meaningful step towards a future where technology and partnerships will drive the progress of a new generation.
