A special four-day youth training program was organized in Bhavicha Union (Ward No. 3) of Niamatpur Upazila, Naogaon, under the Ghashful ENRICH program with the support of Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF).

The training, titled “Social Volunteering, Leadership, and Harmony Development,” was held on 19, 21, 26, and 28 May 2025. A total of 100 local youth participants—including 40 young women and 60 young men—took part in the sessions.

On the opening day, Mr. Md. Anowarul Haque, Concern Person from PKSF, attended as the chief guest. Key sessions were conducted by S.M. Kamruzzaman, Upazila Youth Development Officer, and a special session on social harmony was led by local Imam Md. Harunur Rashid.

Participants received guidance on entrepreneurship basics, income-generating planning, and the importance of active participation in social development.

On the final day, each participant developed a small business plan and collectively committed to engaging in voluntary social initiatives such as blood donation, tree plantation, and promoting communal harmony.

The training was coordinated by Md. Kohinur Islam, Coordinator of the Ghashful ENRICH program, along with other program staff.

Such training initiatives go beyond routine activities—they mark the beginning of a new mindset where youth from marginalized areas emerge as the future leaders, agents of development, and ambassadors of social unity. Ghashful’s initiative is being widely appreciated as a timely and exemplary model for rural youth empowerment and self-reliance.
